| The children at Garforth Pre-School Playgroup are extremely important and their well being and safety are paramount. Staff like to work closely in partnership with parents to encourage the learning and development of each child. This is done mainly through the key-worker system ensuring continuity and support of education at home. | ||

Garforth Pre-School Playgroup is situated in a large hall which gives the children a lot of space to move around and explore the different activities available to them, some are child-initiated and some are adult-led. | |
| Painting opportunities are always provided along with mark making, as are sticking and playdough. Role playing and improvisation are available not only in the home corner but also among the tools, dressing up clothes and dolls. |  |
