By joining in all the activities the children learn co-operation, patience, sharing and turn taking as they begin to interact with their peers. They also have plenty of opportunity to be quiet and to look at the many books available in the book corner, they may look on their own, with some of the other children or they may choose to have a story read to them by a member of staff |
| At mid-morning the children sit down for brunch. They are offered water, milk or juice along with some toast or crackers and a piece of fruit. |

At the end of each session we sometimes have a story and we always sing nursery rhymes, counting and action songs before the children are collected at the end of the morning. Our aim is the make each child's learning experience at Garforth Pre-School Playgroup a happy one! |
